Paestum is an ancient city of Magna Grecia located in the province of Salerno: more precisely within the Piana del Sele, in the close vicinity of the coast of the gulf.

The Archaeological Park of Paestum, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the city.
